Monkey Island is back, and I am in tears of joy

Today has to be one of the greatest days in my “nerd” life. Monkey Island has come back. First and foremost they re-releasing Secret of Monkey Island in Hi Def for XBLA and PC, with voice overs from  Monkey Island 3 star Dominic Armato as the voice of Guybrush Threepwood. This alone would be enough amazing news to have me in a fit of joyous tears, but to top that off tell tales games has announced episodic games for a new Monkey Island series, which I have already pre-ordered within the first 5 seconds of seeing this announcement.

Today is the greatest day in nerd revival. Thank you Ron Gilbert, Michael Land, LucasArts, Steve Purcell, and Tell Tale Games for making my dreams come true.
