Infected Brains Project and Festivious Fist Frolics.

So if anyone has not been following my twitter/facebook status, or reads my blog, they may not know that I have founded with my friend Will, a game studio. The name of this game studio is Infected Brains Studio and it is currently developing a title for Windows(XP/Vista) and Xbox Live Arcade. As far as what type of game and how it plays, has not yet been released to the public(so stay tuned!) however the game design has already undergone progress. I am really excited about the team that we have started putting together and think that some really cool stuff is going to come out of this.

I picked up some books on C#, XNA and Game Design that have helped me get a grasp on the core understanding of game development. I am now taking idea’s that I have had and trying to make them finally come to life.

That explains part 1 of this current blog post title, but you may be wondering, what is a Festivious Fist Frolic? Well, I’ll tell you, It is a fist bump, knuckle knock, “pound”, or whatever you call two grown men smashing there closed fists together from a forward thrusting motion(not down/up directions).  Why am I bringing this up? To be honest I really don’t know, but somehow I got on the conversation of how some people just look to be accepted, and one of the ways to make someone feel like part of the group/team is to thrown them some knuckles, brown, pink, white, yellow, green, don’t matter the knuckle to knuckle action is universal for acceptance and celebration. I think that a lot of people disregard the knuckle knock fist pound as something for only “tools” to undergo, however I think after much scrutiny that they are simply doing what is natural to the human species, and that is fist to fist appreciation.

So before you judge someone for there fist pounds, and think of how excluded you feel, throw that fist out in the air, and scream, “Dood! Hook me up with a pound brah!”
